The Lascar EL-USB-TC Thermocouple Data Logger with USB Interface measures and stores over 32,000 temperature readings from either a K, J or T type thermocouple.  A thermocouple is attached via the thermocouple socket at the base of the unit.  Connect a J, K or T-Type thermocouple to the EL-USB-TC data logger and extend the measurement range of the logger to as low as -328°F (-200°C) and as high as 2372°F (1300°C). Using a mini thermocouple connector in the base of the logger, the user can integrate their own thermocouple depending on the measurement range required.

The user can easily set up the thermocouple type, logging rate, start-time, logging mode, and download the stored data by plugging the module straight into a PC's USB port and running the purpose designed software under Windows 2000, XP or Vista(32-bit only). Data can then be graphed, printed and exported to other applications.

The data logger is comes complete with a long-life lithium battery, which will last for approximately 6 months and a free K-Type probe also the EL-USB-WIN configuration software.

Easy to install and use, the control software runs underWindows 98, 2000, XP (Home and Professional Editions) and Vista (32-bit).  It allows the user to set up and download any Lascar EL-USB-TC Thermocouple Data Logger with USB Interface. The latest version of the control software may be downloaded from www.lascarelectronics.com.

After installing the software, all the user needs to do is simply insert the data logger into the computer USB port to configure it. Options include giving the unit its own unique name, choice of thermocouple type, sample rate, high and low alarm options and delayed start times. Once logging has completed, take the logger back to the USB port and download the data in .txt format, view as a graph or export to Excel for more detailed analysis.
