The EL-USB-1-PRO data logger measures and stores up to 32,510 temperature readings over the -40 to +125ºC (-40 to +257ºF) measurement ranges. The logger is housed in a waterproof, stainless steel case to protect the logger from corrosion, impact and moisture (to IP-67) which allows the EL-USB-1-PRO to be used in extremely hostile environments. A long life lithium battery is included which allows logging for up to 3 years.
The EL-USB-1-Pro data logger includes the configuration and downloading software is provided with each logger, making programming this data logger easy. Simply plug the EL-USB-1-PRO directly into a USB port and use the EasyLog software to choose a logger name, set a sample rate, program high and low alarms, and select immediate or delayed logging start. The unit can then be placed in the chosen logging location. When logging is complete, plug the EL-USB-1-PRO back in the computer’s USB port and download the data, which can be graphed, printed, or exported to other spreadsheet applications.

EL-WIN-USB (Data Logger Control Software)
Lascar’s EasyLog USB control software is supplied free of charge with each data logger. Easy to install and use, the control so ftware runs under Windows 2000, XP (Home and Professional Editions) & Vista (32-bit). The software is used to set-up the data logger as wel l as download, graph and export data to Excel.
The software allows the following parameters to be configured:
Download EL-WIN-USB (Data Logger Control Software)
To download and install Lascar's EL-WIN-USB software take the following steps:
1. Download El-WIN-USB Click here
2. When prompted about whether you wish to open or save the file choose 'Save'.
3. Select a location to save the zip file to and click 'Save'.
4. When the download is complete, right-click on the .zip file and choose 'Extract All'
5. This will open the 'Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard'. Click 'Next' and then select a location to unzip the file to. Click 'Next' again to begin the extraction.
6. Click 'Finish' to close the wizard.
7. To begin installation, navigate to the folder where the download file was extracted to and double-click 'Setup.exe'. This will open the 'EasyLog USB Setup Wizard'.
HINT : A pdf titled 'EL-USB Installation and Operation Guide.pdf' is included with the download and gives more detailed instructions on navigating the 'EasyLog USB Setup Wizard'.
8. Before using your data logger with the software you must first install the Windows driver. To do this, insert your data logger (with battery installed) into a free USB port on your computer.
9. This will open the 'Found New Hardware Wizard'.
10. If asked if you wish to connect to 'Windows Update' choose 'No, not this time' and click 'Next'.
11. Choose 'Install from a list or a specific location (advanced)'.
12. Ensure 'Search for the best driver in these locations' is selected, put a 'tick' in the 'Select this location in the search' option and click 'Browse'.
13. Navigate to the location where the download file was extracted to and click 'Next'.
14. If prompted by a Microsoft warning screen click 'Continue Anyway'.
HINT : This is a feature of Windows XP. Selecting 'Continue Anyway' will not harm your computer in any way.
15. Click 'Finish'. You are now ready to begin using your Lascar EL-USB data logger.

- Display o , on for 30 seconds after button press, or permanently on
- Data rollover (allows unlimited logging periods by overwriting the oldest data when the memory is full)

To download and install Lascar's EL-WIN-USB software take the following steps:
1. Download El-WIN-USB Click here
2. When prompted about whether you wish to open or save the file choose 'Save'.
